My Research (University at Buffalo)

I currently perform research for the UB Talker which is an augamentative speech device for individuals that have lost the ability to speak. My part of the UB Talker deals with the website. I am developing a new website for the UB Talker with a team of developers. We hope to release this site by the end of the Spring 2009 semester at the University at Buffalo. I am working under the direct supervision of Dr. Kris Schindler and Michael Buckley who are both professors in the Computer Science and Engieering Dept at the University at Buffalo. You may visit the CSE website Here.

Recently (November 2009), I made a mock up version of the UB Talker in Java. This was assigned to the students in my Lab section, thus I couldn’t post it sooner (I’ve been done for a long time now). The mock up requires the freetts jar be put in the Java build path. You can get the source here. The lab description is at: this link. (Sources: Professor Mike Buckley’s Website)
